As a fourth-year medical student, I bring a wealth of firsthand insights into the medical school admissions process. During my second and third years, I served on my school's admissions committee, where I actively participated in interviewing, evaluating, and recommending applicants for admission. Since 2019, I've also been dedicated to empowering aspiring medical professionals as an MCAT tutor, and I’ve accumulated years of experience in teaching and mentoring pre-med students.

 

As a first-generation medical student, I intimately understand the challenges and complexities of the medical school application journey—particularly for individuals who don't speak English as their first language. Having spent half of my life in South Korea before relocating to the United States, I possess a unique perspective on the nuances of learning complex materials in a second language. I’m passionate about helping students effectively articulate their unique stories during the admissions process, and hope to work with you!
